I don’t usually like to write reviews, but this product works well if you do a trial and try it at different times before sleep. This is what my doctor told me to do with sleep aids containing melatonin.
This all natural sleep aid worked as well or better than all the other natural sleep aid or prescription sleep medications that I have used in the past. I actually reviewed the ingredients of Somnus PM with my sleep doctor, and he likes this product. Therefore, I will only use this to get the sleep I need when I really need it.I think that it works because it has melatonin, which has the best studies and best evidence to help regulate you sleep cycle.
The other reason why I think it works is because it has proven ingredients such as valerian root, chamomile, passion flower and lemon balm, which have all been proven to help relax each night so you can fall asleep fast.My opinion is that Somnus PM has all the proven ingredients that can help you fall asleep without the sedating and addicting side effects of prescription medications.
I definitely recommend this over any other sleep aid I have used from Amazon.

I struggle to fall asleep mostly on nights I’m active in the evening. Whenever I play basketball later on, I tend to really have a hard time sleeping. But not when I take Somnus. This made all the difference.I kind of started avoiding being active at night so I could sleep, but this made it so I could still fall asleep quickly, stay asleep the entire night and still wake up feeling like I wasn’t groggy or dragging all day.Really like the benefits that come with this.

I have tried many OTC sleep supplements with melatonin, and have also tried every milligram from 0.1 to 10. Even after all that, I could not find the right melatonin dose with the right blend of proven ingredients, until I was told by a friend to try “SOMNUS PM.” It has 6 mg of melatonin and GABA to help with my sleep disturbance, and valerain root, chamomile, passion flower and lemon balm to help reduce and stress/anxiety I might have so I can get to sleep. It was one of the best nights sleep I ever had after not much sleep in 3 days. I think it works well because of the exact and perfect dose of melatonin, and correct blend of pertinent active ingredients.
I tried it at 30 minutes, then 1-3 hours prior to going to sleep as it suggested, and I found that it worked best when I took it 1.5 hours prior to sleep. I was told by my physician that everyone taking a supplement with melatonin should do this trial of different times in order to find the perfect onset of melatonin release.I have also tried it after flying back from 1 week in Europe, and it helped me regulate my jet lag. Now I know what to take with me when I travel. I actually reviewed the ingredients with my physician, and he gave it an ok.If you want to get good sleep, at least give this a try. I now recommend it to everyone I know who has sleep issues. Good luck.
